BARRICK (LOULO Gold Mine)
Design & Supply of the Gold Room Ammonia Scrubber , Mali
The ammonia scrubber is sized to extract 26 400 AmĀ³/hr from the plant. The ammonia gas is collected in an acidic sulfuric acid solution, where the ammonia reacts to form ammonium sulfate with a very low vapour pressure, reducing the ammonia gas concentration in the off gas to below environmental emissions limits. The ammonium sulfate solution can be sold or used as a fertilizer.
