Value Engineering

Consideration of value engineering is an integral part of any project. The AZMET team can provide value engineering input to any project from the start, working in an integrated manner with the Client.

During the review of designs and development of an implementation plan and schedule, the AZMET team investigate and resolve issues with consideration typically given to items such as:

  • Plant layout to minimize material handling and/or slurry transfer between sections of the process plant
  • Simplification of the process plant to reduce the installed equipment that will constitute a CAPEX saving
  • Scheduled delivery and construction sequencing
  • Maximising the commercial benefit of pre-fabrication and pre-assembly
  • Installation methodology and equipment (site access and plot plans), particularly in terms of space constraints and limited lay down areas
  • Special transportation consideration for oversize equipment
  • Site safety requirements, particularly for rigging and hoisting
  • Optimising of implemented systems
