Ammonia Gas Scrubbers

AZMET’s unique Ammonia Gas Scrubber ensures optimal removal of ammonia to meet environmental emissions standards. The wet scrubber creates optimal contact between the extracted gas and chemically dosed scrubbing liquor to remove the ammonia from the gas. The ammonia scrubber has the added benefit of producing an ammonium sulphate solution which can be used as a fertilizer or used in other industrial processes.

Mercury Scrubbers

AZMET’s Mercury Scrubber uses direct water contact to condenses mercury contained in extracted gas. Condensed mercury is collected and can be removed be draining into a mercury flask. Trace mercury not condensed is passed through sulfur impregnated carbon filters to ensure mercury free gas is released. For high temperature application and indirect water-cooled condenser is supplied to condense mercury vapour before passing through the carbon filters.
